About Me

Educational Leadership

Educational Leadership

Empowering educators and students through innovative teaching practices

"Educational leader with a passion for empowering educators in their journey to meet students where they are and guide them to success."

Professional Mission

A 25-year classroom veteran across secondary and post-secondary education, my work is a focused split between the development of quality assurance measures, evaluative tools, programs, courses, and curriculum that ensure program success, and the development of courses that develop a deep appreciation for rhetorical persuasion while teaching students to find their own voice.

I am continually exploring and trying new strategies, tools, and experiences I can incorporate into my toolbox to better serve faculty, staff, administration, and students alike. In the end, it's all about the student experience and student success.

Transforming Education Through Quality Assurance

My approach to quality assurance in online education combines rigorous standards with collaborative improvement frameworks that empower faculty and enhance student learning experiences.

Through my e-Faculty Coaching program at Tarrant County College Connect Campus, I've implemented a non-evaluative model that has consistently produced measurable improvements in:

  • Course design quality and alignment with standards
  • Policy compliance with SACCOC and federal regulations
  • Enhanced student experiences and engagement
  • Improved retention and success rates for coached courses
"This model of collaborative improvement guided by non-evaluative feedback elevates quality, compliance, and faculty awareness."

I believe that well-designed courses should:

  • Align learning objectives with assessments and activities
  • Provide clear navigation and instructions for students
  • Incorporate diverse learning materials and engagement strategies
  • Ensure accessibility for all learners
  • Connect content to real-world applications and student interests
